On this blow, we had to really organize themselves: turning in a funky (and certainly less moldy) as apart of the old Cuban, multi-device camera with microphone and tie a real engineer, more ... a little surprise that let you discover for yourself. The meeting of two choirs Lower Normandy
for "Journey to the Hereafter"

The first weekend of choral singing from the chorus "Cosedia Cantabile Coutances and" Brass band "Bayeux just taken place the last weekend (Saturday, February 28 / Sunday, March 1) at the Centre d'Animation "The Unelli" in Coutances (with the help of the town of Coutances and Music in Normandy).

At the initiative of their respective choir, Fabrice Larcher (Coutances) and Isabelle roquia (Bayeux), the 90 singers of both choirs together have benefited from two days of intensive rehearsals and training in vocal technique, first group a beautiful series. This grouping

The recipe for these concerts is simple: a famous work, the "Requiem" by Mozart, then this notion of time travel with two other works on the same theme, "Begräbnisgesang" (Song of the grave) by Brahms, Romantic composer, and a third, twentieth century this time, "Ode to Death" (Ode to death) by Holst. This journey time will be held upside down for spectators, as the musicians begin with the twentieth century to reach the Enlightenment. The history of the choir

Cosedia Cantabile choir of Coutances the country, is a 1901 association headed by a board of 8 members including the chair is Monika Gunz Arnaud, the secretary, treasurer and Ninon Risser, Monique Rousseau.

Birth the choir Cantabile Cosedia is the joint effort of several people in two choirs old Cecilia Cantat and field. The articles were signed January 5, 1996.

The choir now has about fifty singers who gather every Thursday evening. The ensemble is led by a choir teacher at the School of Music in Coutances, Fabrice Larcher and occasionally assisted by a pianist.

The program is very diverse and covers both songs of the Renaissance, traditional songs, spirituals, classical or operettas. It seeks to give 2 different programs year.

Cantabile Choir Cosedia not hesitate to join with other choirs. Thus she has sung several times with the choir of the Music School of Cherbourg, and in 2004 she joined the choir of the Music School of Vire.

In 2008/2009, the cooperation with the Symphonic Orchestra of Bayeux a reality with three concerts around the project "Journey to the afterlife."
